Spectrum Dst2

What is it?

Spectrum Dst2 is a specially engineered chemical for the control of dust on haulage roads that can make water-based dust control over 100% more effective and has fantastic cost savings as a result.

How does it Work?

Spectrum Dst2 is added to your water-bowser, at a dilution rate of just 1L for every 5000L. Spectrum Dst2 is then spread over the haulage road in the normal manner, and suppresses dust in the following five ways:

1. Increases the wetting penetration of water resulting in better and more sustained use of water, preventing puddles and run-off.
2. Deeper water penetration reduces the amount of water lost to evaporation.
3. Increases the size of molecules, resulting in a larger surface area smothering and suppressing dust particles.
4. Improves the benefits of natural rainfall, when the water evaporates, a residual of Spectrum Dst2 remains, which is re-activated to by rainfall, to suppress dust again.
5. Cumulative benefit, the residual that is left continuously improves your watering program so that each watering produces a better effect.
